 Going to try and make an effort to be more regular with my blog not done one in so long doesn't help that I have not been able to go trout fishing since the longest day fishing challenge in June anyway this blog is about the GCFflyshop big waffle on the 2nd of September.

 All the detail and links you need to enter are below and you are more than welcome to comment on how to improve the draw even prize suggestions would be great and please share the blog the more shares the better lol

The draw will take place at the start of each month September is the first event and will take place on the 2nd on the GCFflyshop Facebook group click this link for the event:  GCFflyshop Facebook group 

  1. There is 168 ticket 56 of them have a prize on them giving you a 1 in 3 chance of winning any of the prizes posted below.
  2. Tickets cost £5 each and can be purchased up until the last day of the month giving me time to sort out all payments and to add the names into the hat before the draw.
  3. For each ticket, you purchase your name will be added to hat 1.
  4. Hat 2 will have the 159 waffle tickets.
  5. On the day of the draw, I will be live on the GCFflyshop Facebook Group
  6. I will pick a name from hat 1 then pick a raffle ticket from hat 2 you will instantly be told if you have won or not.
  7. All prizes will be sent out ASAP.
  8. Payment is by PayPal family and friends if you don’t have PayPal you can purchase entrees on my website

Well, this is my 1st blog ever as I am not a very confident writer due to my dyslexia all I can say is thank god for the spellchecker. GCFflyshop @ Forgue

  Well once more Forgue Fishery did not disappoint and it was fantastic to see so many others out enjoying the fishing, scenery, and the weather pity the latter was just a bit bright and warm for the fishing lol. I had arranged to meet up with Sarah Watson and her 17-year-old son Josh to try and give him some help to start him on his fly fishing journey. Well let me tell you it did not take long and Josh was able to start casting and within 5 minutes he had hooked, Panicked and lost his very first rainbow on the fly it was funny to see the panic then the disappointment on his face when he lost it. I hope Josh sticks to the fly fishing as we so need young blood into our great sport of fly fishing and hope to see Josh in the next few weeks to see if he has taken in some of the help I gave him and his casting has improved and we can get him a fish and land it this time lol. AS for my fishing well with helping Josh and having some great chats with other’s I only landed up with 8 bu

Trip to loch insch

 On Tuesday me and my brother had a trip up to Loch Insch Fishery.  First time being there and can say it looks great and definitely will be going back. We both caught 4 rainbows each and two of mine coming on the last 10 minutes of our tickets. All caught on a mixture of lures from GCFLY Shop , we both tried cormorants and other flies throughout the day with no luck.  Plenty of other takes for both of us if we weren’t so rusty. Will definitely be going back again shortly to try to beat our score.
